Ellen Townson was born and raised in Andover and is a proud graduate of Andover High School.  She attended Merrimack College where she earned a BA in Communications, and very recently earned a Diploma in Irish Archaeology from the University of Galway in Ireland.  Her long standing commitment to many boards and organizations in Andover includes:

In her free time, Ellen enjoys hiking forest trails, reading piles of books, visiting family in Ireland, growing edible flowers and following the Boston Bruins.  She lives on Glenwood Road with her husband Winslow, her 13-year-old son, Owen, and their two Airedale Terriers Sammy and Casey.
